Man it sucks having to wait for development camp. Wish we started right after the draft. It seems 90% of all the other teams have already started and Devs camp is still 2 weeks away... I hope its because it is so much better then every other camp and that is the reason for it taking so long for it to open up lol.

Completely agree on Rieder. Not sure what we do with Duclair but ultimately that's for the coaches to figure out. I'd take a flyer on one of these guys or even NailYak.

Rieder has made a career largely because the Yotes haven't been that good. He's low end top 6, and doesn't play the game like a traditional 3rd liner. He can fit in that slot if you're rolling 3 scoring lines, but then money becomes an issue. Az sent him packing because his last deal was a hard sell. We will see?

I don't see this happening. Defense, other than top 5 picks, rarely play season 1.

Cam Fowler I believe was an exception, but there aren't a lot of Fowler situations out there.

Really doubt it. Should focus on a mid-tier defense man like De Haan to replace Moore. I'd also be interested to see what what happens with Duncan Siemens this offseason. 24 year old former 11th overall pick. Didn't seem to get a fair shake with Colorado, not going to provide much offense, but wow our defensive depth is terrible.
