EggenBerger was at one time a serious prospect. His shine has obviously worn off but definitely worth a camp invite.

Even if he doesn't amaze the canucks in camp, I wouldn't be surprised if they sign him and try to develop him in the ECHL/AHL.

If he is half the player his dad was, I doubt he makes the NHL.

Don't get me wrong John Madden was a great role player and had a strong post season when they won the cup in 03 but for the most part he was a PK specialist during his career.

I hope Benning goes after Maroon if he is looking to add grit, at least he can play in the top 6 and has trade value. He also proved last year that he could get leaner and faster and IMO was better at his role than Lucic.

I would overpay on a 2-3 year deal.
