Well pick three to protect was the point I was making. Hell I'd want to protect 5! It'd be Provy, Ghost, Sanheim, Myers and one of Hagg and Morin. That would pretty much ensure losing the other.

But if we are going 4 years then I would prefer someone like Stastny. Also not sure Bozak was a penalty killer and that is one thing I would look for in my 3rd line center guy.

I honestly believe that the team will re-sign Filpulla to a one or two year deal. Lehtera will be back as will Wiese. Only Manning will not.

I'm stuck on Riley Nash. PK help which we need more than 3rd line center scoring. He will be playing with at least 1 if not 2 talented wings so the goals should be there.

I wouldn't mind Bozak but it doesn't seem like he played much on the PK.

I'd be ok with him. If he was my first target i would jump early especially if Boston is going after Tavares. Boston won't be able to tie up money until they know what Tavares' plan is.

I believe that the team made an announcement already that Mrazek's option would not be exercised. The bottom line is that Hextall is gearing up for a Simmonds extension, salary increases for the kids, and protecting cap space for emergencies or deadline deals. That is why I think Filpulla will be back on the cheap.

I’m ok with bozak for 3 years. Patrick is going to be a good pker and when Simmonds comes back healthy...another good pker. I like bozak for his ability to move up in the lineup if need be and to fortify our terrible PP2

Flyers should seriously be looking to buyout Alex Burrows for the Sens if they end up making a deal for Anderson. I don't forsee the Sens trading away any big pieces though, as they are pretty motivated to put together an okay season
