I really don't like JVR but he's easily an upgrade from Weal & Raffl. I suppose it depends on what sort of timeline they have for Farabee. I don't want JVR signed for 4 or 5 years if they think Farabee will be here in a year.
- hereticpride

I think Farabee will need at least 2 years of college. He needs to put on some weight. But yeah, no interest in getting into a bidding war and locking JVR in long term. Same thing with Wayne for that matter if they plan to re-sign him as it seems is their plan A.

What do folks think a JVR contract will realistically look like?

is it?

I've seen that once at HUP. Didn't see how it ended up because it was at the end of my rotation. Warm showers help, we actually ordered capscaicin cream for that pt

That would take him to 35. Seems pretty darn accurate. How about what do folks think Simmer will get?

improvement with warm showers is pathognomonic for cvs

conventional antiemetics rarely work and opioids are contraindicated

although a lot of patients with cvs will request dilaudid and Ativan as the only thing that works for them

Van Riemsdyk is one of the top goal scorers in the league. Why would he sign for anything less than 7 years on the open UFA market?

Though Im not as excited with the draft as I hoped to be I cant really fault them on any of the picks. Im guessing no one from the top 12 wanted to move down without a significant over payment.

That made the Farabee pick pretty much a no brainer. O'brien is a solid swing for the fences. Ginning, though bit a throwback player has size and tools to compete.

I’m surprised they have interest in him. Voracek, him, Simmonds. Not a great group of top wingers with their play in their own end

Signing players like JVR take spots away from young players as well. So when people wonder why young players "never get a shot", look back at these kind of signings.

It came from Ek, I wouldn’t lose much sleep over it. With the way Hextall values secrecy, Ek’s source is probably a disgruntled former peanut vendor.

Exactly, someone farted while asking if Hextall still owns a VCR...which then turned into sign JVR.

My dad was a doctor and I went to law school. Now I know what he was talking about when he said I missed out on a lot of good poop.

I think most of Eklund's rumors are legit. He has sources who hear about the noise. Teams talk to each other around the draft about a lot of different players. His sources tell him about it and it becomes a rumor. I wouldn't be surprised at Hextall kicking the tires on player like JVR and doing the due diligence of a GM.
