I'm cool with Mac on a stanley cup team, think he could contribute. Flyers need another true warhorse back on D. I dont think the "star power" is going to be there up front to carry this club to a cup. T Myers and Carter Hart are the big X factors for me going forward.

I know Hart is the kid being sold, but please don't overlook Felix "I am not a cat, I'm a ninja" Sandstrom.

Why not compare him of today...he just won the cup, making 5.5M, LHD Defenseman. The sad part is AMAC is better.

Andy Mac is a bottom pairing guy just like
Him. Is overpaid just like him. Maybe he is better magnet he isn’t. Bottom line is Andy Mac was a bad bad signing.

What's the definition of star power? They already have Giroux and Voracek. Patrick has a chance to be a #1 center in the league. Konecny could be a 70 point player.
What will Frost,Farabee, and other highly regarded prospects become? There is loads of potential for "star power" on this team.

Hart is 6' 2" and is one of the top rated goalie prospects in the World.

I really don't like JVR but he's easily an upgrade from Weal & Raffl. I suppose it depends on what sort of timeline they have for Farabee. I don't want JVR signed for 4 or 5 years if they think Farabee will be here in a year.
