So, having lunch with my family today, and my step-dad leans over and says, "I forgot to tell you. (family friend) is good friends with a big wig so-and-so at New Era, and certain big wig knows the Sabres players pretty good. (family friend) asks, what's their problem? Big wig says the biggest problems on that team, off the ice, are Jack and Sam. They think nothing of crawling home at 4-5 in the morning on game days after tying one on. Until they get their act(s) together, that team will suffer."

I have seen worse.

I’m not saying it makes sense or it was a good trade. But he made it for a reason.

If it was a table full of turkey sandwiches and he wanted ham, why not try again next year when there might be more ham sandwiches on the table.
