Also... we’ve been so locked in on an ROR trade that I think I’ve pushed 23 too far out of mind. Reinhart a legit candidate to move and maybe the more likely of the two this weekend.

Not sure what good it does trading a cost controlled 22 year old just coming into his own while pissing off your star player by shipping out his roommate. Makes no sense and won't happen

What if this happened:

Ror and McCabe for #3oa and pach
#3oa to clb for panarin
Sign a stopgap center (reichel) and a stopgap goalie (bernier/Hudson).

I say this is a playoff team

- turbo044

I would just take Zadina and stop there

And sign Bernier

if you get 3OA you keep it

Reichel < Erod

Ok with goalie

I don't think McCabe is enough for 3 and pach, maybe Guhle is but even more I think

If they get #3 I wouldn't trade it.

I would do stopgap center like reichel and goalie like Bernier/Hudson

Jeremy White doesn't know his elbow from his bumhole. the guy is about as knowledgeable as Garth.

I don’t get ppl wanting Petry?
Not that i paid much attn to him...
but he was a -30, and the next closest defenseman on their team was a -11

I admit +\- isn’t a great stat...
but when there’s that big of a gap,
u gotta wonder why he’s getting scored on so much more than everyone else?

Jeremy probably saw Homie's post. I know White reads these boards like we read them.

Panarin is a sure thing though. An extended panarin is greater than zadina while zadina is greater than him unextended

Homie was talking about VAN calling us about Reinhart, NOT O’Reilly...
So this could be legit news

I think there were rumors around the deadline of VAN being interested in him as well

Panarin is also gonna cost 10mil,
and that’s IF he will sign
Apparently that’s a big “if”

Too much of a risk for me
I’d just be happy with Zadina for the next 8yrs +

Yea it was circulated around 7th overall pick and Juolevi but at that time Vancouver didn’t want to part with him. Could be different this time around.

A scout on Tkachuk...

Combines his long stride with very good stick-handling prowess and long reach. He is able to make time for linemates with his possessions. Extremely creative and shows finesse in his set ups, but more importantly his demeanor is such that he takes the responsibility of winning on his shoulders. He has a high upside, not a limited ceiling that some suggest. Can dominate down low and between the dots. Retrieves pucks by way of physical checks and honest wall work. There are no warts in his game, and he has shown in college games that he can play and dominate against older more developed young men. There is no denying by any scout that the offensive skills are there, and will grow. No growth is necessary as a team guy and possible future NHL captain. When he is promoted to the NHL, he will be a plug and play stand alone player who can compete and win, no matter where/who he plays with. He is a player who never quits and wills his team to win through his actions. And boy, does he have some edge!

Would be so pumped if we added him today. I wanted Matt bad year he was drafted and he’s supposed to be comparable. Matt had 25 goals this year so Brady shouldn’t be a goal scoring scrub.

I like Sam but if we walked away today trading Sam and O’Reilly and drafted Dahlin, thkachuk, and Wahlstrom we would have a core in place for the next 10 years. We would suck again this year( will with Reinhart anyway) but would be set up for something real.

Eicheil/ mitts/TK/Wahlstrom/2019 pick
Dahlin/Risto

That’s a future Stanley cup core. With a lot of cap room until their big contracts.

Yea forsure ! Botts also always talks about how we have an abundance of RW’s. So perhaps more faith in Bailey and Baptiste then we originally think. Would also allow us the cap to take a run at UFA’s this year whether it’s Carlson or JVR if need be.

D day is here, D day is here!!!!

Donovan, "He's like McDavid playing defense."
Soupy Campbell, "Dahlin would be the #1 overall pick as a center or a defenseman."

Give me some Dahlin

We ended up with the lesser Nylander, and I wouldn't be surprised if Brady is the lesser Tkachuk
