Apparently there are rumors out there about this as I mentioned above. It isn't going to come easy that is for sure. I don't see a lot of people lining up to take on those contracts without us giving something away.

And trading those two away at the chance to sign Tavares is too much to risk IMO. I was just dreaming on what has been a boring hockey day - was hoping for more

Simmonds if he can get healthy will be right back to being one of the top power forwards in the NHL. It's the equivalent of running backs in the NFL. Once they hit 30 (in some cases a few years before) they drop off of a cliff. Sweeney, stay away from power forwards.
