The head scout for McKeen's shared his doubts on Kotkaniemi. They have him ranked 13th. Says that recency bias may have influenced his big jump up the draft board. If they re-did their rankings he says they may bump him up into the top ten, but they are ok with him at 13.

He was good this year, but he was good not playing center. He spent the enitre year on the LW. So lets say the Habs draft him, they'd just be drafting a younger Galchenyuk. They might get a center, they might get a wing.

If he is there at 9 and the Rangers picked him, I would be happy with that.
