All this talk to trading Tanev, but I am also good with not trading him. Edler and Gudbranson looked very good together last year until beign shut down for surgery, and I think he will be healthier next year

bottom pairing being MDZ and Stetcher and Hutton traded/packaged for something.

Get a proper 2c from somewhere(either trade or FA) and we have a team that could finish outside the bottom 10 and be well on our way to a playoff team in a couple years. This is of course assuming Guddy and Tanev can stay healthy for more than 70% of the season. TB will be having some cap issues soon, maybe try and pry Miller out of there.

Bouchard for sure. They may have made a mistake with Juolevi and they can’t afford to draft a guy that may never play in the league. I would agree. Dale Hunter compares him to John Carlson. He's big, logs big minutes and great passer 2-way RD. Most NHL ready out of all besides Dahlin.

He has said he is going to work hard on his quickness this summer. If he does, there is certainly a chance he could play on our 3rd pairing next season with some PP time as well

I heard the Canucks did not much like their interview with Hughes. I can't remember if someone posted it here of hf boards. I still think Tkachuk or Dobson fall to us. Ottawa I think takes Zadina at 4 to replace Hoffman and Detroit takes one of Hughes or Bouchard.

I agree, and although I'd like tchunk better at 10 then 7, he'd be a good middle six player for us.
