Proposed by a Blues poster on another board.

Parayko + Berglund

For

ROR + Bogosian

Where the hell do I sign?

- ImThatGuy

Parayko was amazing two seasons ago. Got his money, turned into a giant marshmallow.

What about a trade centered around Schwartz for ROR?
- jcragcrumple

Not a chance. Blues are in desperate need of a high level center, but not at the expense of losing Schwartz. He’s too important to the stability of the team. Blues were the best team in the league from the start of last season into December. Schwartz went down, Blues sucked from then on.

I do think some sort of goalie swap could be beneficial for both teams though. Both teams have goalies that were thought to be great, but have crumbled. They could both use a change of scenery.

He didn't get PP production

His 17 EV goals were tied for 72nd, and his 35 EV points were in the low 100's.

He's still a firm top 6 player at EV. Just not a PP guy

- sbroads24

A lot had to do with line combinations. He was often playing with Toews and Mickey the Mope on his RW. Quenville also had a bunch of bums rotating through that position so they never got used to playing with a regular RW. They also had a lot of defensive zone starts.Toews numebrs were horrible too. I would expect that if they find a decent RW and leave the line together for the year his numbers and Toews numbers will look a lot better this year.

From Spector's page

SPECTOR’S NOTE: Bergevin will listen to offers, but unless he’s getting a skilled scoring center as the centerpiece of the return, he won’t move that pick. Perhaps the Sabres are interested in moving O’Reilly, but I think they’ll want more than just the third-overall pick in the deal.

More than 3 OA? I think most here would be happy with just the pick.

- adambuffalo

Agreed - and if I'm jBotts, I would then seriously consider trading back through pick 8 or 9 and pick up another 2nd .... then package that 2nd and 32 to get back into a late 1st.

We will never get that pick for just ROR. I was thinking we would have to add at least #32.

and i would be ok with that

You get the 3OA, you take Zadina and run. Do not trade back.

So what's a better ROR-centric offer, to you?

Basically, but they're all 1st overalls. Can you draft one player multiple times if you were the first one to draft him?

I would too, but if I am montreal I am not making that trade. I hope Tavares signs before the draft so we have a shot at being the next team to pull one over on Montreal.

Only way I would trade back (after getting 3rd overall) is to stay in top 10 but gain at the very least a 2019 1st (or another 2018 1st if available).

I would consider a young top 3 winger and 2018 top 10 pick for 3rd overall too.

But yea, I think I take Zadina and run.

No but Tanev and 2 others , we don't need Tanev. Sutter and Gaunce I think were the other 2. Not sure

eh...depends on what the "+" is to move back.
there is some serious talent available in the top 10 on the wing and on defense.
getting a scoring winger is easier (easier, not necessarily easy), then getting a #1 or #2 D man...
so if I could bolster the RHD with a true #2 next Dalin for 10 years .... count me IN

Did it include...
Tanev+Sutter+Lind

Hear we would want Juolevi, but I would be worried about him at this point, mostly cause of the surgery (for no good reason).

From HF user:

To Montreal: ROR and 2019 2nd
To Buffalo: Poehling, Mete, Scherbak, 2019 1st (top 10 protected for one year)

I'd do that
