At this point, isn't it just a little ridiculous to still be arguing about the Schenn trade?

All I know is that the Flyers scored more goals and made the playoffs without him, while the Blues missed the playoffs with him. You can say whatever else you want, but those are the facts.

- BiggE

Those facts just can’t be accepted by these two dinguses but hey let’s speculate some more since it’s the offseason

This cracks me up! You called me out now you're going to whine!

Use two players! LOL. Bottom line is that is Schenn was not traded he would've increased the Flyers scoring production this past season as a proven 20+ goal, 50 point range player. Other forwards such as Weal, and later Lindblom did not make up that difference.

- MJL

So the guy who actually moved into Schenn's place and the guy who moved into that person's place can't be the ones who made up the production... GOTCHA!.

2017-2018
G = 102
Coots = 76

2016-2017
G=58
Coots=34

YEP! Schenn was replaced

You forgot to mention it HAS to be only Weal, Weise and Lindblom. No other player is allowed to make up Schenns points

No, it didn't happen. Not at all. You can't apply Couturier or Giroux's improved offensive output to replacing Schenn. They didn't replace Schenn. The wingers who replaced Schenn were the committee of Weal, Weise, and a few games here or there for Raffl and Lehtera. That committee did not come close to replacing Schenn.

There is no doubt that the trade of Schenn for the return of draft picks and Lehtera made the Flyers a weaker offensive team in the short term.

- MJL

So replacing 1LW with the production of 3LW... gotcha!... You're an idiot if you think a third line player will be able to score like a first line player based on ice time alone it's not going to happen.

Literally everything you said yesterday was pure speculation IF Schenn was on the roster lol. And the year he WOULD have had. I countered your dumbass speculation with further speculation. Christ it’s like you and SchennBlower don’t read. No one ever said this team wouldn’t be deeper with Schenn on the roster. It was never about specific x player replacing Schenn it was the collective offensive production for the 5th time. Which by the way again, the Flyers accomplished. Again, you two can’t read or simply have the reading comprehension of a two year old. Personal issues lol? Let’s just ignore your personal issue to refuse to admit when you’re wrong which SEVERAL people pointed out yesterday with your dumbass denial of the Flyers scoring more goals than last season without your precious Brayden Schenn. You are a true Chode. You and SuperSchennBlower deserve each other. You two pull more stuff out of each other’s asses than a rectal removal doctor.

The very fact that you need to get personal, which I haven't, shows how much you lack confidence in your opinion. Stating that I can't read or comprehend what is being said is your imagination and your problem. You want to place parameters on the conversation for your perspective and point of view. I disagree with that perspective. When you remove a good player from the lineup, the only logical way to look at if that player's production was replaced is by looking at who replaced him. Otherwise you're discounting what Schenn could've added to the lineup offensive production wise on top of player like Giroux, Couturier, and Konecny increasing their output. No doing so is absurd. You're dead wrong in stating that everything I said was speculation. The fact that Schenn is a proven scorer in the league and is a significant upgrade over players such as Weal and Weise, is not speculation. That is a key component of my opinion.

The idea that Schenn if he was still a Flyers would have significantly upgraded the Flyers forward corp and added to their scoring is not an idiotic idea. If someone doesn't think that Schenn is significantly better than players such as Weal and Weise, then that's idiotic.

Wrong perspective and a silly way to look at it. The Flyers traded Schenn. Who replaced him in the lineup? It would never be possible for Couturier, Giroux and others to increase their production with Schenn in the Flyers lineup....GOTCHA

Coots is still 3C if Schenn isn't traded. That means Coots doesn't get the numbers he got if you can't see that you are blind.

That's an assumption on your part. Couturier absolutely could've still played at 1C with Giroux on the Wing. Looking at some of the line combinations the Flyers used there as absolutely room to add Schenn to improve the team while still keeping the first line that was used intact. If you can't see that you are blind.

Seems like you're the one placing parameters on the conversation to me.
