Yeah, that was the conversation when he was drafted.

Way too early to tell about the latter.

You could argue McIlrath over Tarasenko, but 15 teams passed on Tarasenko...kinda hard to get one them about that.

to be fair though, he was fantastic in the lockout shortened 2013 season and would have easily gotten 70 points that year if it was full year

What about 28 for Carlo? Reminds me a lot of Girardi, solid stay at home guy that can play on the top pair against other teams top lines just not going to light up the scoresheet.
