ESPN flexed a Sunday afternoon game in Toronto (7/8) to Sunday Night Baseball, fully knowing the Yankees had a make-up double-header the following day in Baltimore and wouldn't change it. So the Yankees threatened to make nobody available before/during/after the game to ESPN and I guess are now threatening to flat-out pull any ESPN reporters credentials over it.

It is bullshat to expect them to play an 8pm game in Canada, fly to Baltimore and play two games in a row the next day. Basically three games in like a 27 hour period.

Although, I watched some of the Astros/Red Sox game last night and A-Rod was playing catch from the bleachers with the Houston right fielder and also getting yelled at by J-Lo (who was sitting right next to where they were broadcasting from) for eating too much of her ice cream.

Precisely how I feel. It's not that I am anti-Tkachuk (not the way I was with his father!!), it's that the popular opinion is that the ninth pick should be a quality player no matter who it is, so why would you trade up to get someone that scouts are split on?

At 9 I think I’m taking him but I’m really thinking Dobson is the way to go at 9. I’ve been reading about him more and they’re saying he could be the best defensively in the draft while still contributing offensively. Good size and RHD.
