My top 3 is Bouchard, Tkachuk and Kotkaniemi (sp?). I like the Finn a lot from what I’ve been reading. Feels like a Laine, but obviously that’s a stretch. But bigger winger who can score.

The Fin is a big time riser, and my gut tells me that he will actually be gone by the time the Rangers pick. But, that goes against the grain, so who knows.

I actually like Rasmus Kupari a lot as well later in the first draft. I am a fan of the Fins this year.

If hit's between Boqvist, Kotkaniemi or Veleno, I wouldn't mind him. If they choose Kotkaniemi over the likes of Bouchard, Hughes, Wahlstrom or Dobosn then we might have an issue.

I had that same feeling for a long time. But know I am not really sure he will even be there at 9 (I would bet he won't be). I've heard at least the Habs (I know crazy at that pick), Red Wings and Hawks like him.

If Tkachuk falls to 9 that is different for the Rangers moving assets out in order to jump up in the draft.

Precisely how I feel. It's not that I am anti-Tkachuk (not the way I was with his father!!), it's that the popular opinion is that the ninth pick should be a quality player no matter who it is, so why would you trade up to get someone that scouts are split on?
