No... I commented that you're overreacting when it was a 1-0 lead. I'm simply expounding that it doesn't matter if they score three more. Winning the series will prove they "solved" Fleury.

Changing your arguement. And remember, I said at the moment. Or are you ignoring that little fact.

Is Gallant going to say the Caps had more hussle than them?

How many of them have been Fleury's fault?

Was that last one his fault because Theodore couldn't get it out? Or the 3 on 1 breakaway Kuznetsov had? You sound like a typical Flyers fan blaming the goalie for every goal that goes one (I should know I was one for over a decade and have been on the Meltzer boards for years).

I would say they have outhussled them. The disparity of odd man rushes these last 2 games for the Caps would indicate so.

I love Flower. I'm stunned at the 10 GA stat in 3 SCF games. Not blaming him at all, I called him having trouble through the 2nd as he was - despite what the fool with the low hockey ip says. Theodore has had a couple of shockers.

Holtby allowing 9 goals in 3 games. What's your point?

It's a stat. Stats get put in here with reckless abandon. Sometimes there is no point.

Not gonna lie. It may be possible. Couple years ago kings fans would laugh at you but there’s a very good source that knows some ins and outs of the kings in Jon hoven on Twitter. I don’t know if that’s the package that could land kessel but something like it. He says it’s real possible he could be part of a deal.... should be exciting summer for kings fans as well as other teams fans. Sounds like some wheelin and dealin May go down
- KINGS67

Toffoli or Kempe + Muzzin or Forbot would be a good package to land Kessel and Hunwick.

I can't believe I ever liked Orpik as a player. He's such a doosh these days. All he does is interfere, yet, he's always whining for a penalty to be called. Same when he gets hit, he has to cry about it. You can dish it out but can't take it Brooksy?

Some dude I don't know on Twitter reporting that..

"Nashville has a trade offer on the table for Kessel. Latest discussion was Kessel and Hunwick for Ellis and Turris. Don’t shoot the messenger. Pittsburgh is believed to have started the conversation."

- YouMeAndDupuis9

Replace Turris with Arvidsson+ Ellis (or Ekholm) and we have a deal for Kessel and Hunwick.

Caps commentator had a chuckle when he went to hit Neal & came off 2nd best. Orpik complained Neal hit him in the face, which they couldn't quite get.

For those of us who do not like physical play I am afraid I've got some bad news. Washington is winning this because they are controlling the game with physical play.

The entire defense is keeping any Golden Knight from getting within twenty feet of Holby. Tom Wilson is running around like he is a king. Devonte Smith-Pelley slams MAF in the head and chirps for five minutes that it was a BS call.

All Vegas is doing is turtling every time they get confronted. I have seen Neal do it twice, once with Wilson and once with Djoos, also McNabb (Kutznetsov) and Carpenter (Carlson). I can understand Wilson but not the other three.

No push back from Vegas, and when that happens it is going to be difficult for them to get any calls from the officials.

I think they would take Ellis + and if it were for Turris it would be another 3 team trade (Turris going to Montreal for Patches or to Buffalo for O'Reilly who they like as wing options). If they did bring in a top 4 Defenseman they would probably shop all D but Dumoulin. My friend who works for the Pens stated JR isn't shopping Kessel, but as many have talked about previously. If he gets blown away by an offer I see him pulling the trigger, but JR is one to get the best player in all the deals he makes so it would probably be a swap of stars which I doubt would happen. He did say JR had a few ideas on the roster one with minimal changes and 1 with some huge shake ups (Kessel and Letang leaving to other teams but again stars or multiple solid pieces coming back for each trade). Kessel would probably get a bigger return than even Duchene did the previous year (there would be a lot of interest to drive up his price even though he isn't a center).

Yeah having him not on my team really opened my eyes to Brooks. It’s strange because even when we had James Neal I knew exactly who he was and that I was more so putting up with him rather than actually rooting for him. I have no idea why I turned a blind eye to Orpik all those years. Glad he’s not a Pen anymore.

I don't know if Caps have a size advantage but it sure looks like they do. Reaves was useless last night BTW.

I don’t know. Holtby really hurried that pass leading to the goal. Probably because he knew the real powerhouse was on the ice.

I was referring to the fact he flubbed some golden shot opportunities and was no deterrent to the Knights getting beat up on the ice.

The entire team is next to useless. They are not stringing any passes together, just getting rid of the puck to get rid of the puck. Nobody driving the net. Letting Washington get five shots on Fluery on the first goal. If you look at the replay of the first goal there are TWO Knights on the ice and the Caps getting rebound after rebound.

I don't think you quite understand what turtling means... In what world would Kuznetsov ever be crazy enough to fight Brayden McNabb?. You're talking about the illegal crosscheck to the face Kuntz took at McNabb when he was down on the ice and the refs somehow missed? That wasn't a challenge to fight...

Neal turtling Djoos? You mean in the scrum after a Vegas shot when Djoos throws a left hand at Neal? Again how is that turtling? Did I miss the invitation or challenge to a fight?. Why the (frank) would Neal fight Wilson?.

As far as Carpenter vs Carlson, again another scrum Carpenter takes a few extra whacks at the puck Carlson crosschecks him and Carpenter throws his stick away? Turtling how?, what is supposed to happen there exactly?

Did you miss Neal absolutely destroying Orpik? Or McNabb laying out a few Caps with hits? The only turtling going on here is Wilson not wanting any part of Reaves. The rest of this stuff is extra curriculars going on and the refs letting a ton of stuff go.

The Caps have just been the better team at executing their game plan. When they get the lead the Knights haven't been able to figure out the 3-1-1.
