And it confuses me that ppl think ROR will have this big drop off before he even hits 30

The Avs had a bad year, they had 112, 90, 82, 48, then 95 points. We have been the worst team 5 years in a row the situation is not even comparable. NJD 88, 78, 84, 70 then 97.

Us? 48, 52, 54, 81, 78, 62. We have been MUCH worse, adding Dahlin doesn't make us comparable. In 2 years i think we are ok. Next year what can you expect? 70-75 points? 80 if we somehow get it going early in the season?

I’d rather Bozak. But same premise. If we move ROR we need someone to handle those defensive minutes.

But if he, Jack & Casey are our top3 centers, then idk who takes on the defensive responsibilities?

Like if the Isles know Tavares is a goner, maybe you get one of their firsts, one of their better prospects and a young roster player.

With Casey at center, his minutes should decrease
And is we bring in a 4C who can shoulder some of the defensive load,
ROR can get easier minutes as well

I agree we will improve but we will be young, and have almost half the roster turn over. I think there will be stretches of what we see in the future. But i also think we are going to struggle for long stretches as well.
