I think Tavares gets around 10. Regardless of where he goes. Islanders maybe 8-9. Free agency, 10.

Take a look at the London Knights the last 20 years. They are alwayscompetitive. Look at the players drafted out of that organization over the past 10 years. Look at the young talent coming up in the Leafs system. And his ability to get a lot of guys oversees. He’s a head scout and fantastic evaluator of talent. Lammorello was a puppet, Hunter really ran that ship.

If they can land Tavares they should.
Only Crosby, Kane, Ovechkin and Giroux have scored more than him in the last 8 years.

He is a superstar talent, and the Sabres would be downright stupid not to at least reach out.

Have faith in the youth. If they finish bottom 10 next season so be it. It’ll be on new management and all current players. Pegula will sell the team and focus only on the Bills.

I'm really not trying to be a D*** but this team was the worst team in the entire league, by a long shot.

Changing one player, however good he is does not put you in the playoffs.

kovy on a 1 or 2 year deal would be interesting

probably have the cap space for that short of a deal as well
