Sure, then the players will want higher dollar contracts to offset the money lost later in their careers. The league is in a good place now. They can't lean on them like they did in '04. They're not taking a cut which, in essence, that is without making it up elsewhere, be that a bigger piece of the pie, or more dollars in their contracts.
