But the big guys contracts combined with over payments to UFAs is crippling teams.
Lockout is going to have to correct these issues is some form or fashion.

But I was looking at their barn and what's in the pipeline, and it's empty. after 10+ years of playoffs and selling off their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounders for rentals, they have no depth. Their core is aging and it might fault next year. If Jumbo Joe retires and Burns starts burning out next season, it's over, their 2020 pick will be a very high pick.

I guess all I’m saying is when McDavid’s cap hit is $12.5 which is ~20% higher than previous high....IMO that is quite the increase....it’s a sold player at $2.5m

Some kids use high freqs that only they can hear, but their parents can't, for notifications. Some places of business that have a problem with kids hanging out have been caught using speakers that blast those freqs that adults can't hear, but drive the kids crazy so they don't loiter.

I think Timo Meier is the truth and Josh Norris isn't far behind. I agree they'll take a hit as those guys continue to age.

You may be right that it's worth deferring to get the higher pick. If the compete window is open that year, that's a very, very valuable asset.
