It’s not fun but I knew I had to have another surgery, was hoping it wasn’t the same one as before, it’s (frank)ing painful. |

Ozhiganov unlike Zaitsev was a 4/5 defender in the K. Zaitsev was the best in the league for his age. Head and shoulders above the others. Looks more like a Rosen level signing. - AdamFrench
Don't be foolish.
Ozhiganov is awesome.

No risk signing - if it works out, he's a 6/7 guy that replaces Polak on the right side. If it doesn't in the NHL - he helps the Marlies. Good signing, and not the answer to top four requirements on the right side.

It’s worth it to take a chance, if it doesn’t work out then it’s just a year contract. No big deal.
Engvall could become something. |

Maybe this time not give him a 6 years contract if he performs decently?
Maybe? |

Zaitsev was more than decent last year but should have gotten only a three or four year contract. |

Sophomore slump + injuries (concussion & broken foot)
One can only hope he bounces back and looks more like he did his first year. I'll keep my expectations low though lol |

Wishing for it, not going to make it happen. Truth is, outside of the Martin and Zaitsev deals, most of the contracts look decent - could also add the stupid tax for Kessel. And the jury is still out on Z, he could be ok this year. Lottery teams typically have a few stinkers
According to this list the worst contract on the Leafs, doesn't cost a dime against the cap.

It's a pretty decent list.
Not sure about Horton though. Would have gone with Zaitsev or Martin.... in both case it's not terrible. As you said. |

- Under Harris, the Ontario Government was paying about 15.5 cents of every revenue dollar to sevice the debt. Today, the Ontario government pays a fraction over 8 cents per revenue dollar.

I'm not trolling. I am merely reporting facts. - Atomic Wedgie
Nice political pamphlet there Wedgie - doesn't make it fact. When I read a feasibility study in my line of work, it is a proposal to justify, to get funding - not necessarily a statement of fact as you are indicating here.
I've owned several homes over the years, paid hydro over that timespan, I even worked for hydro as a co-op student years ago. The prices charged and the treatment of the public are insipid. |

Even if they have millions of dollars....
Why the (frank) am I paying for their medication? (frank) right off
And nice work putting the housing market into the poopter!
(frank) off Wynn - .OHOH.
I have no problem with people thinking the free prescriptions should be means tested - I'm one of them. Not sure why they didn't go this way - would have been cheaper.
As for the housing market being in the pooper - gimme a franking break. We experienced double- digit growth for so franking long. You get no sympathy for (at worst) losing 10% this year - FFS you gained 25% last franking year.
Like I said, there are plenty of reasons to not like the Liberals.
"Wynne is a witch" is not a legitimate argument. |

It's from franking Hydro-Quebec!
You think they are painting a rosy picture about Ontario Hydro?
It's not that franking hard to check the numbers if you don't believe them.
It in fact does make it fact, FFS. |

"But, as the Fraser Institute explained in a report last week on Ontario’s finances, all is not rosy for Ontarians on the deficit front.
That’s because the Liberals accumulated debt for this year is projected at $311.9 billion, almost 125% higher than the $138.8 billion debt the Liberals inherited from the Progressive Conservatives when they came to power in 2003.
Interest still has to be paid on that $311.9 billion by taxpayers, at a rate of almost $1 billion a month, or $11.6 billion annually."
Except what the Sun conveniently omits is under Harris, the relative debt load was almost twice as much.
Under Harris, the Ontario government was spending about 15 and a half cents of every revenue dollar to service debt. Today, it's just over 8 cents.
This isn't an Ontario thing - interest rates are at a historic low. Governments around the world (as recommended by the IMF) took on debt to stimulate the economy during the recession.
In short: there has never been a better time to borrow. |

You’re now at the point of which leader is the lesser of three evils.
Some might say there is no winner in this election for Ontario.
