Speaking from first hand experience - and receiving a bill from Hydro One for $14000.00 Canadian in January of 2017 - and being forced to pay it (this was a two month 60 day billing period) I find it impossible to see that this wasnt - a catch up payment for past Hydro sins. As much as I despise the Conservative party and their leaders both provincial and federal - I cannot blame them for that bill. There are several significant outrageous Hydro bills currently in the courts.

No kidding. Hydro bills are a disgrace - so are the lack of incentives to leave lower carbon foot print.

I looked into a grant for $3500.00 to become more energy efficient - I was doing it anyway so what the hell - I inquired.

Sir.... um you have to have a certified inspector .... here is a list of acceptable inspectors.

Inspecting company ... how big is your house? .... about 5500 sq feet, We can do the inspection for $2800 - and you must pay in full before we inspect, if you qualify, then you can apply for the $3500. (frank) THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right now PC kind of counts on the left-wing vote being split between NDP and Liberals. It's been decades since this country voted in majority for the right.
