Tamsy, remember when you told everyone you’d be “staying away from the comments section”?

You’re a man of your word, clearly...

I missed it. Having dialogue with the blogger is fun, whether you agree with it or not.

Sounds like players who shouldn't be in the league. If only their coaches and GM's knew how to access the internet and read a spreadsheet.

Coaches make poor decisions all the time. It's weird that people think that coaches and GM's are invincible to bad decisions. No profession is.

It's weird that people think that some people think that coaches and GM's are invincible to bad decisions. Think about how much distance there is between a player who can't play and shouldn't be in the league, to playing a significant role on a team in the conference finals. That's a long reach. So who is likely the person who is wrong in the case regarding those two players? The coach and the GM, or the guy saying they shouldn't be in the league? That's the point that you're missing.

Your point is incorrect. As a parent of a child, I can monitor the education my child is getting and establish an opinion that the teacher is doing a poor job. I can go on Twitter and see that Trump is tweeting out and come to the opinion that it is in poor taste. I can go to a restaurant and say that the chef made a poor choice in his ingredients, leaving the food bland and tasteless. As an artist I can look at someone's painting and believe that their use of colors was poor because nothing really pops.

I can watch a hockey game AND look at stats and results and see that a coach made a poor decision to leave this guy/that guy in the lineup.

Just because I don't play hockey doesn't mean I can't judge other players vs. their peers. Just because I'm not a chef doesn't mean I can't judge their food vs. their peers. Same with teachers, artists, parents, and so forth.

I'd rather not blindly follow people based on their "title" whether it be where they went to school, who they worked for, or whatever. That's an extremely foolish way to follow things.

You're response here further illustrates that you don't understand the point. The comparisons you make and use here are ridiculous. For example you may think the chef did a poor job but that is just your opinion. The diner on the next table over thinks the chef is great. Come back to me with something more relevant. You didn't come close to addressing the actual point I made. You keep making it about blindly following someone, that has zero to do with the point.

You’re both missing the point here.

Why haven’t you asked Karl Sedin what his thoughts on them are? Cause his is the only opinion that (frank)ing matters.

Would there be room? Maybe between the deep fryer and the soft serve ice cream machine?
