Yeah, he was a monster. Well, all of those guys were monsters, really.
I rolled with Royce Gracie way back just after his dominance in the early UFC's. I was 185lbs in pretty good shape and he had to be about 20-25 lbs heavier than me. It was like fighting a wet noodle. No resistance at all until he had me wrapped up like a pretzel.
Also got the chance to get on the mat with Emmanuel Yarbrough. (google that one!! ) Little bit of a size difference!! Let's just say that I relied on my quickness in that spar. One of the nicest guys I've ever met, though.
