If Spooner walks away free, there will be teams lining up to sign him for a minimum 3 to 5 year deal, at $3.5M to $4M annually, or even slightly higher. For Brooks to make the assessment he made "system" speaking wise on Spooner was foolish. We saw his potential in that excellent start he had here. But not all players can be judged properly who played under the failing systems both offensively and defensively with last season's coaching staff. In a fine environment, including possibly here if we ever land the new correct coaching staff, Spooner would be an asset much greater than being a detriment.

It says 103 and 12th from Islanders, but I traded it down twice. If you do it for three rounds, don't think it records everything. Did another one where I ended up with Tkachuk, Hayton and Noel in first round, and one with Wahlstrom, Veleno and Kaut after trade ups and trade downs. It's unrealistic, but it's definitely like crack.

That has been in part Tampa's problem this series, in getting "Bruined" by the Caps physically, which is limiting their offensive zone play, and even forcing them into taking retaliatory penalties, and preventing them from playing their own game.
Just prior to Kucherov's leg kick in the closing seconds, he sustained a lower leg to leg hit from the same Cap that he administered his hit on in frustration as well.
I doubt that Kucherov will be penalized in any means, given the NHL's lack of proper penalties and more handed out on head shots administered.

But that Leafs new GM and kid in Kyle Dubas is the Valliquette of analytics in using video and statistics, to a much greater extent that almost anything Babcock may do wrong will be scrutinized by him. That could possibly prevent any team from getting Keefe from him in the end, unless Keefe wants out 100% in order to make the jump to somewhere in the NHL.

I would watch that show on those nights in anxiously waiting for one of the Rangers ROAD ONLY games aired on WOR TV Channel 9, in the days when Cable TV was just beginning to be wired in the metro area. One too many were even on tape delay back then, due to a Knicks road game waiting to be completed, especially during the "Circus" time at MSG.
All MSG games were only on cable back then, (if you were lucky "to pay for it"), had your neighborhood eventually become wired. I also believe whichever major network in the 70's that would broadcast a weekend game of the week, (likely CBS or NBC), had the Rangers home games subject to blackout, due to the home cable tv broadcasts.
That's when Marv Albert and Sal "Redlight" Messina on radio were otherwise, your only means of following live Rangers action, as long as Marv wasn't covering his first beloved, Knicks team. Then Spencer Ross would be one of, if not his main regular replacements.
