I feel that people pick and choose which means more to them when it supports their argument.

Sid, Geno and Letang are very much live-by-the-sword/die-by-the-sword players; You accept their style lends itself to bad turnovers, but there's a limit. IMO his bad was too much this post-season. Look, the good things he does, even if he's playing at 60% is still better than 75% of the dmen in the NHL, but his bad this year was BAD.

What I, nor anyone else knows, is how deep Letang's injury and long period of time off really affected him. His type of injury is a very rough one to bounce back from and not playing for a long time makes it even harder, but for how long?

He just did not look like Letang this year at any point, even how improved he was from the start of the season. My hope is that a healthy off-season of rest and training will show a different Letang next year.

You try to coach the playmaking abilities out of them and you get a bunch of players that dump and chase and rarely create scoring chances.

Enough of this

He missed about 1/2 a season, then played a FULL YEAR this regular season

Him being "Rusty" is not an excuse, His issues are mental. He makes bad decisions that were way too high risk for too little reward

His last play speaks volumes. In OT in an elimination game you don't pinch there. You don't cheat for offense, you don't leave your man to join the rush. Way too short sighted

Like Letang on the PP. There are areas you don't rip a shot from because if you miss the net, the puck wraps the boards and leaves the zone, but I've seen Letang make that play over and over and he never learns

He's a low-IQ player. Tremendous ability, but dumb

LOL. For Letang to miss a shot on the PP would require him to actually shoot on the PP. That doesn't happen, so...

He has more individual shots per 60 minutes than Schultz on the PP. Also more individual shot attempts per 60 minutes than Schultz. So this weird idea that Letang doesn't shoot the puck on the PP is wrong. He also has 1.5 more rebounds (2.2) created/60 than Schultz (.41) does.

I hadn't heard that in at least 15 years. Heard it this morning during "Breakfast Music" time with the little lady.

A little more salt into the wound this year: that kid Klim Kostin who the blues drafted with the pens 31st pick looks really good. At 18, the kid played really well in the AHL and could be a regular next year. But the pens had to have Ryan reaves

Eh, it was a bad trade asset-wise, but Reaves wasn't as bad as some made him out to be. They probably could have gotten him for less.

I'm about halfway through and it's such a good season. Dr. Greg is my favorite character I think.

That scene at with the redneck? "Good Shabbas, (frank)ers!" That killed me when he yelled that.

- Rinosaur

whoever plays the main character is a (frank)ing dweeb (I know that's his character, but no), and after sitting through the boring ass first season, I find it hard to believe this show got good.
