If thatโ€™s what youโ€™re going with, good luck! As Sindy, Phil, Geno and Letang get older, they have no one to replace them with. Maybe they can tank, and have Buttman gift them lottery picks again??

Absolutely! We will be bad for a while, but we look forward to reloading with another generational talent in a few years. Its just how we roll.

Trolling the team that dusted yours in pretty embarrassing fashion, is bad enough, but your team hasn't won a cup in 43 years.

Lets set that aside for a moment. How empty must your life be that you are even here to troll? What a loser.

He's great...but I've watched both in person. Mario was just so dynamic.

Man I hope we can dump Sheary and Hunwick this off season. I'm a little afraid we won't.

Pretty sure the metric they used there comes to the same conclusion, but Ovi is definitely in the conversation.

I think its fair to see that Ovechkin has the greatest shot of all time. Mario's dynamism made him a better goal scorer, but just imagine if Ovechkin even encroached on Mario's level of offensive creativity. If Ovechkin could create for himself as well as Malkin can, he'd be in the pantheon of undisputed best to ever play. 80 goal seasons wouldn't be out of the question for him.

1. Debatable. You, a Flyers fan, came on a Pens board to let us Pens fans know that you admire Ovechkin because he is Russian.
2. See 1.

ah the you must be a troll because you cheer for a different team argument. solid.

ive been commenting on this board all playoffs long. didnt say anything about the pens losing. stated a reasonable explanation for why i like ovi. clearly im a troll

im fairly sure that ive added to the discussion of actual hockey played throughout this past series much more than you have. and ive managed to do it without the more reasonable pens fans on here calling me a troll. but i appreciate your input

Its like, having the best odds two years in a row and getting it once is a crazy idea. Yet no one bats an eye at all the #1s Edmonton racked up the last decade.

No Doubt, and I will give him that he plays with a physical edge unlike many of the truly great goal scorers. He's a great player, and he played great in this series.
