My mindset on E Kane, was to get him and let Horny walk/trade both at the deadline. His game would replace Horny pretty well. Hes no longer obtainable without a LOT of shuffling on the team.

After getting lucky and winning Game 1, felt like Sully and the coaches rested on their laurels not getting Malkin in there for game 2

Given that Tampa ousted a great team in Boston the way they did, and the status of Backstrom, I like Tampa in ECF. People often forget this is their 3rd trip to the conference final in 4 years. Stop. I'm sorry, but Ovechkin could not hold either Mario's or Gretzky's jock in that department. If I need a goal to save the world, Mario is my guy. If you want to say best goal scorer of the Cap Era, I'm down with that, but best in history. Not even close.

We gave up a lot of breakaway goals, seemed like all were when Letang was on the ice but another problem was no depth scoring. Did a forward other than Hornquist, Guentzel or Sid score in this series.

Malkin and Phil were obviously hurt but we need to get some depth scoring. Sheary does nothing anymore. Love Hags but he can't be in top 6 without scoring goals. I love Brassard trade but man was he a disappointment. Didn't even get anything from Big Game Rust. Its a shame ZAR got hurt because I was hoping he be that depth scoring for his. He and Sprong need top 9 minutes next year.
