It sucks because they totally could of won this series but it's done now and it was an amazing unreal run, the past few years. They'll be back in the thick of things next year, rested too.

It sucks to say but ya really gotta give Caps credit. Their battle level surpassed the Pens for long stretches of the series.

No Backstrom, no chance of getting past Tampa. If his hand is truly broken they are more likely to get swept than win the series.

How about the D stop pinching at every opportunity?

I know they basically have a live/die by the sword type of mentality, but their D are making poor pinches and leading to an ungodly amount of oddman rushes against.

We didn't have it all season. Don't know why but we just didn't. It was like watching the Bylsma Era except with a way better roster.

We'll have one of the best NHL rosters yet again next season, so hopefully we should be right back to being a contender after a nice restful offseason if the injury gods afford us yet another good season.

I've never seen a penguin team look more disinterested in a game that mention so much. Let an was horrible! Brassard, why did we get him again? Kessel was a shell! I knew this couldn't go on forever but to lose with so little effort was a disgrace!
