if Bergevin doesn't get his main target (and he won't), Perron is probably a real option
- Symba007

He's probably option C or D somewhere after he fails landing Tavares or Carlson.

This is going to be Samsonov all over again.

*fat old bald white men shouldn't play basketball regardless how much your kid pesters you*

and I don't remember it being this tough to use crushes....but I guess that's what an extra 30-40lbs will do.

Rasmus Sandin (Unlikely to be there)
K'Andre Miller (sucks he's LD)
Jared McIsaac (If available, but unlikely)
Kevin Bahl (Showed more when playing on a good team, very raw)

Every defender is a bloody left handed guy

What about Merkley? You know, if he can add about 40+ lbs. Or Woo?

With Liljegren in the system it seems a bit like overkill. Wouldn't be pissed though. RHD though.

I wonder at which height the 600lb width to height ratio enters equilibrium.

London just has lots of cash...and obviously a good hockey family ( regardless if they're crooked lol )

Yep, need to develop at the lower levels I agree...not that big on Corsi etc....I don't find it's a true measure of a hockey player...it's just as bad as plus/minus when we judge a guy by what happens when 5 other guys are with them and different opponents etc....it's very premature in the collection of those stats to truly base talent on IMO

I did the math above, you should check again.

48.5 currently allotted to the cap without any of those players I mentioned signed. I budgeted 17M(not including Neal) for those players which likely is low, and they have other roster spots to fill on top of that.

- Archaic

Cap going up by $5 million minimum, add $5 million for Neal, Add $13 million for loss of dead salaries. $23 million. Add $6 million that they are under 2017 cap space $29 million: Add following rookies on entry level deals - Cody Glass, Nick Suzuki, Eric Brannstrom and possibly Keegan Kolesar.

They seem to be pretty healthy salary wise. And unlkie the Sens, they sell out their playoff games so being a cap team is a non-issue.

I went to the Marlies game on Saturday, and Liljegren had less impact on the game than the j in his name had on its pronunciation.

Is it possible he has mono again?

Having a strong ECHL team has never, ever made a difference before.

I'm not saying that the Leafs are crazy for trying to do this - what the frank, it's just money - but to suggest that it is proven that it is important to have a strong farm system at the ECHL level is pure conjecture.

Dropped to mid-second round pick, doubtful he gets picked in the first round. Good name though, Blur song will get played.
