I do think there is a chance and maybe even a good one that he does become a better player, but as of now he isn't.

Playing with Bergeron and Marchand has also done his 200ft game wonders. I don't know if Marner will develop that aspect of his game quite like I have seen of Pastrnak. I'm not saying he's a selke candidate, just gauging his growth in that aspect of the game from when he started to where he is now. We'll see though.

Same with Marner, he definitely improved his overall 200 ft game.. Even against the Bruins in the 1st rd, he played on our shut-down line with Marleau and Pleks/Kadri.

Granted, they didn't shut down the big 3 in four of the games but... You know... he tried?
