I can’t think of Bill Torrey without thinking of the time he traded Frank Beaton to the Minnesota North Stars in exchange for steak dinner at The Palm. The NHL wouldn’t allow the deal until it was reworded - Beaton in exchange for future considerations.

Chunky and Reuby were fighting this morning. It got pretty vicious.

Given the team is currently operating without a GM, it is truly impressive that the Carolina Hurricanes seemingly came out on top in this deal in all aspects. Not only was Kruger available to the Arizona Coyotes for free earlier this year, but they gave up Martinook to get Kruger, who is much like a younger, better version of Kruger.

I made myself a venti of rolo hot chocolate yesterday, with mini marshmallows. It's was (frank)en delicious.
