Just for my own sanity I'm trying to be positive regarding a possible Lou hiring. i like having some hope for once with this team. Plenty of time to go rip city down the line if Lou is not hired or if Lou is hired and nothing changes.

I get it, but I'm coming from the opposite direction. This organization has disappointed me too many times. I am expecting the worst and hoping I will be pleasantly surprised.

How is there ANY accountability if Snow and Weight retain any job? It literally makes zero sense.

Who knows man, but for me at least it’s a start. For all we know hiring a new president allows them to fire Snow without retaining salary. At this point it’s all guessing but one thing is for sure....a guy like Lou isn’t gonna let this Snow clown continue his reign of suck for long. If nothing else it’s a bone for us fans with some meat on it. I’m the king complainer when it comes to the isles but this would satisfy me in that it’s the beginning of the end for Snow and his reign

I would think if something were to be done it would have been done already. I can't imagine what the hell is going on behind the scenes? I would like to believe these owners are trying to get a competent GM under contract, find a coach, and ink Tavares but I think we all know it's nothing. These guys aren't doing a (frank)ing God damn thing and we're fooling ourselves thinking otherwise. There's nothing going on which we'll find out and have proven when old yella crawls out of whatever cave he's hiding in right now. (frank)ing disgrace.

No worries Jimmy. I've been mostly negative about this team for years so I'm not going to call out another Isles fan for being negative or worried or anything else. I honestly think if Lou takes the job he is running things even if Garth shared an office with him. I think like every other GM in sports, Lou will make moves that will not work out but most of Lou's moves will and he will do a fine job. The key is unlike Garth, Lou will actually try and not let seasons slips away without doing anything.
