It wasn’t grazed, he slid along that shoulder, but yes, the face became the brake for that liftoff. Much more contact with the chin/jaw than the shoulder, but nearly as much as some are making it out. Glad for the suspension.

The Pens are not off the hook here. Losing Wilson definitely makes life easier on the Pens, but they still need their depth scoring to kick in if they want to make a series of it.

You can have it be one of your favorite but by pure writing standpoint, it didn’t hold up.

It’s as overrated as Lost. Same quality of show, had some great seasons and episodes but the longer it went on, the pooptier it got.

It's here to stay with this administration & owner group. Seriously, if a few owners got together & put pressure on Bettman something might change. at one time, worker's plight brought about organized labor and improved working conditions. Until the players, their agents, or the NHLPA start speaking openly and objectively about head shots, there will be no impetus to change. If the players themselves, or their almighty Players Assoc doesn't care about player safety, why should any fan object? It is simply accepted as part of the game.
