I’m still trying to find out what Brass does well. He seems mediocre at everything. Certainly not what I was expecting.
- Thorny87

I think he's just taking a while to find his fit with the team.

i can only speak for myself obviously but youre always welcome to answer to anything i post haha i know youre an object rational dude regardless of flyers. i didnt get to see any of that first 13 mins or so but it looked like they had some shots on the board at least. pens PK looks good but man they cant keep testing it. only a four minute or so sample size but murray really looks like hes fighting it and just hoping it hits his body.

i would say overall the pens looked like the better team but Holtby looks locked in and murray is shaky. caps werent getting much done at 5 on 5 so if yall can stay out of the box and limit their 5 on 5 shots i think the pens have the advantage.

It could be they havent found the right mix of players for him. Although I liked what was developing with him between Sheary and Rust. I dont know why the coach broke them up, sure there is some reason.

I think he just wanted some major shakeup to spark this team. All the lines are different aside from the first.

They had a lot of nice possession time, but I thought it was mostly perimeter. I think a net front guy would do wonders for Brassard.

Fvck.

That would be an excuse for his first week with the team. The guys a pro. It’s hockey. Not too much changes from team to team.

When he has the puck he is so passive. He doesn’t shoot. Or pass overly well. He seems slow.

Pens just a look a little flat to me. Not lazy or sloppy, just flat. Like it's a regular season game.

Caps doing a good job of clogging up the nuetral zone but once the pens get in theyve been cycling well and getting good looks

I like Brassard and Sheary together, they just can't but a finish. Kuhn probably won't be the guy to get them going.

Schultz has been so good at getting pucks on net for chances.

yeah he doesnt often have a rocket but he gets it on net. worst case scenario its an offensive zone draw most times.

both teams really seem to have woken up in the second. both goals just simple get it to the net type plays, but the skating top to bottom on both sides has really ramped up.

god you need to finally make them pay on the PP, or else itll end up being the difference in this game. cmon. youre due boys.

It's weird because he was snakebit the last 2 months before. Kinda due. Doesn't hurt he has great chemistry with Crosby.
