Wilson has knocked players out against us with headshots 3 years in a row and 2 games straight. He's not getting the benefit of the doubt here. - Tojo.
Not here..but the nhl will give him benefit of doubt. |

I honestly hope you guys three-peat.
Swear to god. I want to see a team dominate. Watching any of the playoff teams makes me realize the Sabres are so far away it's a literal joke.
But I calls it like I sees it. That hit was shoulder to shoulder, it's undeniable their shoulders made contact. The follow-through was basic physics, come on. - BeadyEyedDouche
i dont think youre trolling. disagreeing on its face isnt trolling, and youre presenting your opinions in a non jerkoff way.
that being said, at what point does wilson stop getting the benefit of the doubt? |

The NHL wants this. If you read some of those emails from Colin Cambell and stooges from the concussion case, it's obvious they want this kind of animosity/violence. Only after they lose billions like the NFL will the view of headshots change. |

Not true. I have good friends who are pens fans. I lived in Pittsburgh for a summer. Sorry my forum is dead and I wanted to discuss what I thought was a clean hit in a thread where I knew people would be talking about it. I'm not a bitter Flyers fan, so what's the problem?
Wilson didn't do anything wrong, you either know how to take a hit or you don't. Hitting is legal. I don't know man, this is the playoffs. The NHL game is becoming soft if this is a head-hunt. The guy turned into it by ducking out last minute.
the result was unfortunate but come one, he didn't run one of your star players, he played his role. Just threw a hit. - BeadyEyedDouche
Thought thought he'd plant an egg & grow a chicken.
Seriously though. A guy that's played a lot of NHL hockey & is paid for his opinion which I will say is pretty neutral, thought it should have been a penalty - ie: not a clean hit. I'll take his opinion over yours. |

Does he actually get the benefit of the doubt though? I'm not arguing past.
You gotta let them play in the playoffs. That hit wasn't malicious. He did everything he had to do in order to attempt a clean check: He broke stride, didn't duck and jump, didn't creep around his player and gave his opponent more than enough time to react to the play. He (the Pens player) saw him coming, he ran out of room. He was trying to be fancy and paid the price. |

The puck was gone so there was zero effort to separate the player from the puck. He intention was to what? Welcome him to the NHL by concussing him? |

where are all the reaves haters?
boy, its nice to see how supplemental discipline (Doughty, Kadri, Morissey) has deterred scumbag wilson from actually crossing the line. That sarcasm is for you RW and any other a$$hat that believes suspensions deter.

im not sure where the forward was. but it really does look like it bounced right off of his glove. was it his skate instead? either way, hes absolutely got to have that. |
