Although I think Ron Francis was a great player and had total integrity, the Canes hadn't made the playoffs in 9 years and Francis has been involved in management for all of those 9 years. I went to each of the Rookie scimmages where Francis gets his Q&A meeting with the season ticket holders. It seemed like it was always "this year is the year". We have added new talent. And we addressed our needs in the off season by signing- Scott Darling?!?! Yes, it was definitely time for Francis to go! |

So Elliotte Friedman has suggested maybe skinner to LA what does CAR even want? Kings most likely have muzzin. Pearson. And Martinez. For trade bait.
I’m thinking muzzin and maybe a draft pick (3rd maybe) for skinner. CAR saves some cap space with a Dman with term. |
