I feel like Lundestrom will be go between 12 and 18. I really don't see him making it to 19. - ajw12
I think he wont go until 15 at least. A lot of clubs, Flyers included, draft from the CHL almost exclusively in the 1st round. Its not a foregone conclusion to me. But its possible hes gone at 12.
My Flyers wish list for 18-19 in order of preference:
1. Acquire a quality third center
2. Find an upgrade in goal
3. Add a good, fast, PKer with skill to the bottom 6
4. Trade Gudas and let Morin & Myers compete for his spot
5. Trade up from 19 into the top 12 in the 2018 draft - BiggE
Agreed on almost all points, BuggE. My only deviation from it is to have a healthy Morin! I live in the LHV and have been to enough games to know Morin is the one to replace Badko. Big, strong, and nasty, all the things that Myers isn’t. While a nice prospect, Myers’ upside is average at best.

Don't see Raffl having much value at this point, may as well hold on to him as he can be a very good 4th line who can move up when needed and a guy I'd rather see in the lineup over Lehtera, Weal or Weise.
Gudas, if for no other reason than he's only 28 and righthanded still has value in the league. If you are looking towards the future, he can probably land you a mid to late 2nd round pick or he might be a guy you could move to a team looking for D that has a 3C that the Flyers might be interested in. - BiggE
I like Raffle, always have. I actually think he would have value to a team like Arizona, they ended the year strong. Having a Gudas and a Raffle could give them some vet presence.

As I watched Big Buff man-handle two Preds last night (one being Josi) I couldn’t help but think, man I hope Morin brings this. - arichardson22

Exactly what I was thinking. If you could potentially get a player and another pick and still draft the player they want, why wouldn't they. - FlyerFan16
Why trade back in a deep draft? Honest question. Why target a certain guy if the guys ahead of that person could be better? Maybe even a potential star?

Myers only AHL season stats wise is better than all three Morin has had. I want Morin because of the big, nasty element and he was able to keep up with the pace of the game.

The idea is, if it comes to the Flyers pick at 19, and there is nobody at that spot that really wows them or that they think is any better than a certain player that they like and think will still be there at say pick 25, why not trade back to pick 25, collect an asset and draft the guy you wanted anyway.

Not everyone ranks everyone the same. If they feel the guy the have ranked higher than most teams will be available, trade down, acquire assets.

I really hope they take two forwards in the 1st. Yeah, yeah, I know. BPA. But unless there is some huge name sliding I think this franchise could use a bit of a boost to the forward prospect corps. Kotkaniemi and Denisenko would be a pretty nice haul imo.
Would love to jump up and take Farabee but I'm not sure leap frogging the Rags and Isles will be so easy with how many picks each of them has in this draft.

I would call Calgary and ask if they want to get into the first round and try to get Sam Bennett.
A young NHL vet who could slide into the 3rd line center role. Prospects are nice but I wouldn't mind getting a player a little more developed with still more to come.

I like Bennett and I don’t think Calgary has always used him the way they should. I’d part with the 19th pick for him.

I don't think so either. I'd rather have get him instead of a prospect at that point if possible. He could slide into that 3rd line center role. Also kill penalties.
