I think it is nice to play armchair GM but I think the reality is we will keep our seventh overall pick . Trade a few smaller pieces like Sven and Hutton and some minor shuffling and move up next year and finish 21-17

Where is Edmonton going to come up with 9 million in cap space? They only have 12 million with 8 players need signing. Would leave them at 3 million in space for 7 players.

Then I guess they are screwed

I was listening to Cam Robinsin last night talking to Dylan Burke .He feels at number 7
there will still be Dobson Wahlstrom and Tkachuck still there , who do you take ?

All the prospect followers are really big on Quinn Hughes. Total consensus to take him. Cam Robinson has him at 3

Hughes is flashy but he sure looks small. Even with guys his age.

His skating is exceptional though. Pair him with a large RHD. He is small but Barrie, Spurgeon have done well in the west.

Be happy with anyone of the three... but if I'm picking I'd go with Dobson. Gotta draft your own top four d men in this league...

Samonella has been okay . He went to bat down a puck with his hand and missed but he looks smart positionally
