Why stop there? Why not "future considerations?"
- Aaron_85

Send them the rights to JvR, make some conditions on if he signs, and then conditions on the pick depending on how many games he plays in the NHL next season.

Trevor is a right handed shot, could work here too. If JvR stays.

Indeed..1 more goal.

good point.. so trade Hyman for a #1 D?

- senstroll

Get more for Willie, everyone's enamored with his beautiful hair....it would bring back a better quality D

*some wanted Hyman on the 4th line due to his lack of scoring

New idea, Willie Nylander shaves his head. This way, we have no need to trade him....

he had like a 40% jump in production this season...i havent heard many complaints about him since the start of the year.

as long as he is close to 1st line production while playing with Matthews there shouldnt be an issue

I don't mind Willie, but I don't think he should be untouchable...but it would have to be for a pretty good D for me to let him go.

Playoffs - played differently and officiated differently. Hyman figured it out, Marleau has it figured out, Marner figured it out, even Rielly was reasonable. Matthews, Nylander and Gardiner - not so much. That said, I can't see logic in playing Matthews with grinders.

Matthews got Chara freeing up the other 2 sometimes 3 lines for a chance without Chara is what I got from that....plus Brown's usually not too bad around the net. It was the lack of PP's that really killed us IMO...even in the last game...AM sets up Brown on a break and he's pretty much hooked off the puck...I think the ref was combing his hair in the glass or something.

Not saying they should. I was responding to fake's post about why the Leafs can't bring up Sparks next year.

The reffing wasn't very good, put away the whistles after the Leafs received a billion mins in pims.
