Speed with weight helps a lot in the NHL. People whining about losing JVR because we signed Marleau....but I think Marleau is better now then JVR ever was....JMO

I meant it from a perspective of motivation for Matthews, who obviously must recognize what Marner was able to do in that series (and in the second half of the season as a whole)...

There's a lot about that guy I don't quite understand, but I love him. I'll never forget when I was like 8 and had glass seats next to the bench and he decided to go out on the bench and sing christmas carols poopfaced. I could even tell at that age. It became a tradition after that. Well the caroling, not the poopfacedness


And thanks! The last period they were just a force to be reckoned with. The first 40 what with the back and forth nature of it almost put me 6ft under. I was showing some serious signs of game 7 depression after that Kapanen goal. I thought that was game.
