Same lineup tonight;
Leafs lines at skate:
Hyman-Matthews-Brown
Marleau-Kadri-Marner
Johnsson-Plekanec-Nylander
JvR-Bozak-Kapanen - PatC80
Oh ya, I forgot JVR/Bozak have dropped all the way to the 4th line mins.
I'd rather keep Nylander with AM myself...but whatever works Babs...get er done!!! |

I think he'd be beneficial on line 4/PK IF he was 100% healthy....but oh well. |

I think he’ll get more time and space away from Matthews. He’ll get some better defensive matchups and not have his shot constantly blocked by Chara. |

the bolded is most important.
i don't care about 'how well' she sings. (although i do think she rapes the national anthems).
It's about getting team and crowd ready for the game.
Arguably René Rancourt is better at doing that than the 15y old Leafs anthem singer. - MaximusAurelius
Rene is complete garbage and only insults the anthems everytime he poops them out of his mouth.
Ive never really cared for anthem singers but what he does....it aint right.

Let's hope, I thought he had a good start last game...getting in hard on the forecheck etc...then all the PIMs happened...and I don't remember him after that.
*he'll still see Chara...the (frank)er plays almost 30mins/game. |

Unlike the various soccer leagues that use internationally diverse refs, I find it strange that it's almost exclusively Canadian/Americans. Where are the Swedish/Finnish/Czech/Russian (okay maybe not a ref from the bastion of corruption)? - AdamFrench
They simply aren't good enough. |

I'm really worried that with Komarov out, Babs will be forced to play someone with talent on the power play.
If we get a couple of quick goals as a result, the team may become too overconfident. |

Or we may get more time on the penalty kill... lol.
Anyhow I quickly looked at the refs that we have had this series and we haven't had the same one twice unless I am mistaken. The two tonight are also reffing their first of the series. So unless we have a cultural hate for the Leafs we should have a well reffed game tonight.

I know what you mean.. Johnsson might be younger, better, faster and more skilled but he probably doesn't speak 5 languages.
We need Komarov's intangibles on our PK/PP, like we need to see Brad Marratface winning the Lady Byng trophy. |

Patrice Bergeron just exited the ice about 10 minutes into Bruins morning skate while everybody else has stayed out there. Maybe something. Maybe nothing.

My fear is that there's going to be no interest in him around the league this summer and Toronto will happily give him a $1M / 1 year contract. |

Tuukka Rask said the Bruins would 'finish it' in Toronto. Now comes time to make good on that guarantee
Bulletin board material for us, I hope.
