What role do the the Sedin's step into next year?
I could see them being consultants or special assistants. Sit in on player interviews like they did last year.

I do the opposite and have a terrible memory. It could have been Nuck4u

I only write down a few things here and there, just to see if anything we "predict" or "want" ever comes true.

So true, man I hate the leafs and hope they get bounced in 4, but it is better to ridicule in here than over there.

They said they would stay away. The may pop by for a skate or a lunch but they didn't want their presence to distract from the youth movement.
To sort of paraphrase some of their comments that I heard & read.

i'm only joking, I have a decent memory. For example, more people wanted Sergachev(Chunk, Dragon, Vantel and lemmings) than Juolevi (very few) or Chycrun(me and maybe one other)

Dragon thought that Gallant wasn't much of a nx's and o's coach, waiting to hear him come full circle on that one as clearly he is an elite sword wielder.

I had OJ then Chychrun.

Dragon said he wanted Gallant in the previous blog. I know I wanted Gallant and Reirdon over TG.

Jones will probably become the best Dman in the entire league at some point in the near future.

I used the 150 games mark because Jones has played 240 more games then Werenski has. I'm pretty sure when Jones was 150 games in he wasn't as good defensively he is right now. That is why I used "may turn out to be".
- manvanfan

Jones would be my #1 choice for a Dman if he was available, but that ain't happening.

Sure man, i said he was picked too low back when he was drafted. It was always him or Nathan #1.

Yup, gets better every year.
Not the best yet, I would say Hedman. He has to be in the top 10. IMO.

He didn't. I remember very well being very high on Gallant and no one, including Dragon, was down at all. I certainly not going to dive into the archives, but Dragon said he was a good motivator but not a strategist and wanted a better technical coach. I'm not surprised at all to hear he's changed his tune though as clearly gallant is a very solid coach.

Hedman would probably be my choice right now as well.

Seth might never become the clear cut #1 but i do feel he'll hold that title for a couple of years.

Ya Jones cracked my top ten this year, Hedman is still up top with Doughty and Subban.

What a fantastic goal by Dahlen. Great instincts! Splits the D and goes straight to the net for a tap in. You cant teach those instincts - very promising!
