Lukas Jasek has one more year on his contract with Liberec in the Czech Extraliiga, and I suspect that’s where he’ll end up to start next season.

I was just listening to the panel talking about Gulutzen’s firing. I don’t think he is a bad coach he isn’t great but not horrible either. The panel touched on Smith and how acquiring him was to help get wins. Lmfao Smith is the worst goalie in the league and paid like he is top 5. Smith sucks. Calgary’s defence is also the most overrated in the league. My money is on them not making the playoffs again next year.

It is to early, you’re right. They have underachieved the past few seasons. Last season the only reason they made the playoffs was Brian Elliot’s 11 game win streak.

I’m ashamed to say, but post sedin, I want to see a bit more swagger out of the Canucks. I want to see some of that attitude back. I want the Canucks to be a pain in the ass to play against.

The Smith acquisition was definitely a head scratcher for me. I was surprised he had any stetch of quality play this year at all. Washed up player.
