For me, hes from the same mold at Hitchcock, strict to his systems and a hardass about it. I think the group there is very talented but that Tippet still might not be able to draw enough offense out of him.

Who knows though, Tippet could only coached that way since Arizona didnt have the horses to compete so had to lock it down

If I was building from scratch with a bunch of rookies then maybe Tippett. Maybe.

We should be saying goodbye to a few

Gagner Granlund Gaunce Goldobin Too many Gs

- VANTEL

Why? Those players are development projects. If development is successful then you have impact players at little to no cost. Too early to give up on those two in my opinion.

I wonder who will be on Bo's line? That is where a Tanev trade comes in

He's going to re-sign in SJ. Even if it's short term.

I think it's Baertchi's job to lose pending a trade (which I would be ok with).
- CanuckDon

i'd much rather see Sven in a 3rd line role with Sutter.

Are you kidding me?

Nobody kills entertainment like Dave Tippett.

It’s about winning not entertainment 🤪

Why? He is an offensive player and Sutter will continue to have brutal deployment. I’m ok with Bae being knocked out of the top 6 of it happens but it hasn’t happened yet

Lind: Everyone is very positionally sound at this level. Guys seem to be in the right spot at the right time, so you know where guys are going to be. But at the same time, it's hard to make plays when guys are so big and on you right away #canucks @UticaComets

Kole Lind: It's a big change, for sure. Everyone's men out there, it's a lot stronger and a lot less space to make plays...but it's been coming along. The first 2, 3 games were real eye-openers, but I feel like it's coming along #canucks @UticaComets

Listened to his interview and was impressed. He is both confident and humble. Well spoken kid

John Tavares and Evander Kane for #SJSharks ?

Because i think Sven has the speed and skills to be successful in that spot.
I don't like him as a 1LW.

Ok - so you want Sutter to get a more offensive role next season and play with Baertschi? THats fair, but we need to find a new 1LW next season because we don’t have anyone internally that is likely ready for the role

Sorta.

I like Sutter as a shutdown C.
I think Sven can compliment his role and with his speed and skills could also score on the counterattack.

Agreed we need a 1LW...I would argue we actually need a 1C and 1D too

Not trying to throw shade at Bo. Yes. i like him as a player. I just don't have full confidence that he is a 1C. He's a tweener at this stage imo.
