There is another award for playoff MVP in case you didn’t know. |

For the most part I agree, but a coach has to make some in game changes when things aren’t working out. I’m not sure Lindblom is too effective out there right now. Patrick looks like he wants to break out. If do something to give Patrick’s line more spark - funmaster18
He did, he put Voracek up with Giroux and Couturier for a number of shifts.

What's up with Ghost and Provorov? I would have though the Flyers 3-6 dmen would be the weakness against the Pens, but not these guys. Looking at both the season series and playoffs, your top duo seems to be struggling at EVS. |

i dont know what simmonds you're watching cause the one out there isnt doing anything. I get you like him man i do too but hes actively hurting this team and not helping - bulet13
Okay, enough putting words in my mouth. It's not about like or dislike. It's about putting players in a position to succeed. The one place Simmonds is a difference maker is the Power Play. Voracek and Gostisbehere were absolute zeros out there both at even strength and their perspective bread and butter, the Power Play. Both did zip. |

They are at this point. But the Flyers don't even get here without G and V despite their bad play to start this series. If they want to get G going they need to reunite him and TK. Konecny's speed really opens things up for Giroux while Raffl does nothing but drag him and Couts down. I'll never get why Hak broke that line up makes zero sense to me. |

Comes down to the Pens best players are dominating and ours are not showing up - opeth_pa
Complacency most likely. Flyers best players have done nothing but win, while the Penguins top players are hungry for success. |

i think it's just that the Pens are clearly the better team lol
both are still young and haven't had much playoff experience and are now being relied upon to stop your top guys |

Tbh these guys are playing with little to no playoff experience against the back to back champions.
I have to remind myself sometimes how young Provy is too. |

Not sure what was so hard to get about it. The coach was looking for more scoring balance and offensive threats deeper into their lineup. Konecny has arguably been their best offensive forward in the series. He has provided a spark for that line. Are you seriously going to tell me that the player that everyone thinks should win the Hart, which I don't disagree with, needs Konecny to get going and play better offensively? Not saying it won't help and it's a bad suggestion but let's not pretend like the move to put Konecny on that the 3rd line does not have a sound basis behind it.

All I know is Konecny opened up a lot of space for Giroux and Couturier with his speed when they played together. Raffl slows those two down. I get Hakstol trying to spread the depth but when Simmonds and Filppula are pretty useless offensively I'd rather load up my top 2 lines and hope the bottom two lines play sound defence. We can agree to disagree but that's just what I think. |

Go big. Taveras and Carlson. Trade G to Canadians for their 1st and a solid starter. dump lahtera with added picks. |

Simmonds is a net front presence guy. If the puck isn’t getting there then he is nullified. NOPA at least has puck skills
And can make plays from behind the net. |
