I havent really had any complaints on the D. Weal will not improve this team either. Putting either in would be a mistake IMO

Fact is this team relies on the fans. When Pittsburgh scored, crowd went quiet and Flyers were never seen again. JAke and Giroux have been pretty invisible. This game comes down to the fact that our best players are not our best players in the game, we had some bad luck in terms of the goal on the PK where Read lost his stick but you cant take this many Penalties against the best PP team in the league and expect to win.

Its like watching last year since the start of the playoffs..

I don't think they were crushed this game like the score shows. They finished their chances pretty good while the Flyers couldn't finish.

I will say the 2nd period was a big let down for sure.

I'd sooner sign Rick Nash this off-season as a UFA than extend Simmonds.

If he isn't injured he's shot. If he's injured he needs to take himself out of the game. By far the most useless player on the ice.

Dumb penalty by Gudas. This game got away from them. Brutal way to end a game here after the start they had

If you're gonna keep on going on a roadtrip to the penalty box at least get your money's worth. These stick penalties are just soft and lazy.

I like the guy but I would rather get some more skill on this team. Simmonds is going to pretty much be a high paid grinder. I know he still gets 20-30 goals but unless he is in front of the net, the guy is useless
