Don't worry Leafs fans until you lose at home there's no need to panic. You guys are definitely going to need your best players to be your best players to come back though and Andersen probably has to steal a game or 2. No way this is a sweep for the Bruins.

I’ve already given up. I thought I should join my team in that regard...

Thats the thinking of most of us. I think the Leafs just had two games where all the bounces went against them. The Bruins are playing rough playoff hockey and its a different animal. Experience is an asset.

Is that a Denis Leary reference?

Unfortunately I think San Jose re-signs him... and Garth with write 37.4 blogs about the treasure trove of assets.

He'll forget that Buffalo will still be 3 quality pieces short of his prediction. I honestly feel bad for Buffalo fans having him as a blogger.

Thankfully, we have another one.

The gap between the two teams have been a lot more than just a few bounces. It's a brutal combination of the Bruins playing a style the Leafs can't handle to perfection and the Leafs playing terrible, doing little to nothing correctly to make up the difference.

I wasn't commenting on his quality, just that it sounds like a bit he did on "No Cure for Cancer". With "...kids driving their (motorcycle)bongs down the FDR..."

And everyone steals from everyone.

Don't forget the bad luck.

The goal that went in off Zaitsev's? skate tonight was brutal luck.

Never before has a series been more over.

Boston is the better team in all phases of the game. Better 5v5, better special teams, better top line/top 6, better bottom 6/forward depth. Better defense. Better goaltending. It’s over. Sweep incoming.

Perhaps.

Can't argue with the results this season though.

He went something like 30 games without a goal this season. He was streaky AF

Because Plekanec let his man throw that puck in front with no battle.

And Zaitsev, along with his 7 year contract, was horrible in the three other goals he was on the ice for.

It's pretty sad when you can't watch a full sixty minutes of your favourite team in the playoffs. I can barely watch the first forty.

It certainly has been sad
But I plan on watching the full sixty on Monday as long as it's not 5-2 after the second period.

Meh.. playing at home is a different animal.. Pasta won't have another 6pt night and I doubt Andersen will poop the bed again..

But man, that Leafs defence.. I don't know why they're so (frank)ing bad these first two games. I'm not a Hainsey or Polak fan but my god they're (frank)ing brutal right now. I would honestly put Carrick in at this point.. And if they're allowed to call up a player Borgman too.. but I don't think that's allowed.

- Arctic_AARDVARK

I actually love watching the leafs, but this is not the same team. They look young and inexperienced. Stupid penalties, Stupid suspensions, The emotion is getting the better of them. Physically they are showing up, but simply not battling in the corners. They are getting tossed around. Lastly Zietzev (spell check) what does he make 4 mill a year, guy looks lost, players like him kill a teams momentum.

Can't win every year. Leafs won like 40 years ago. Right? I was going to watch the game but after seeing the score after the first. I decided to invest time into watching SJ vs ANA instead. It was a good game. SJ could be sneaky these playoffs.
