Leafs were once again, sloppy, ineffective and outplayed. Hainsey has been poop since the All-Star break but he's really hitting the fan now. Rielly looks lost. The PK (with Polak the PK specialist) has looked horrible and the whole team just completely disjointed.

Kadri missing two more games, Komarov out for who knows how long and Matthews who seems like he's going to need shoulder surgery after the playoffs, the Leafs are in for a huge uphill fight. Andersen hasn't been at fault but he hasn't been dialed in either. Nobody is helping him but he's not doing his team any favors either which he has been doing all year long. The Leafs have a lot of work to do this offseason and it needs to be a giant upgrade on D. Maybe even need to address a toughness issue too both mental and physical.

Which is why I said to trade them at the deadline. The Leafs could be giving Kapanen and Johnsson more ice-time right now which they're going to need because chances are, they're the ones replacing them next year.

Bozak is poop though and easy to replace. He wins faceoffs and shootouts. Other than that, he's a dime a dozen player now. JVR's goals are tougher to replace but if Brown, Kapanen and Johnsson all produce, they can replace his production by committee.
