Oh I know I was being a bit facetious, I just don't think Leivo's absence is particularly egregious.
- Blazed

It's not, you're not wrong. That being said, something's gotta change. If we shore up the special teams and tighten up in the defensive zone, we might make it to game 6.

David Pastrnak has 9 points in two games and I don't think a single Toronto Maple Leaf has made body contact with him or even inconvenienced him to this point.

bruins in 5 still... leafs take maybe one game, maybe
- Bruins93089

Meh.. playing at home is a different animal.. Pasta won't have another 6pt night and I doubt Andersen will poop the bed again..

But man, that Leafs defence.. I don't know why they're so (frank)ing bad these first two games. I'm not a Hainsey or Polak fan but my god they're (frank)ing brutal right now. I would honestly put Carrick in at this point.. And if they're allowed to call up a player Borgman too.. but I don't think that's allowed.

Meh. Babcock is very good at deployment. But he just loves the phrase “vets will always be in favor” for top six and any dman position.

Shouldn’t Kap be top six? Definitely more talent than Brown or Hyman imo.

- RafiDRW

Hyman has played excellent through two. There is plenty of youth and skill on the team. Not saying personnel decisions are infallible but still.

Our team doesn't have those?

I dont mind teh lineup descisions so much as I question the defensive system. Just seems like guys do strange things with the coverage, and dont play basic defense...

They do this weird thing were everyone attacks the guy with the puck and they often ignore everyone else...

- Hockey_Reverend

Yeah, I noticed this. That’s like Buffalo level of dumbassery. Let’s just leave Andersen/Mc deal with two Bruins on either side while we don’t anticipate the guy we’re chasing in mass to pass.

Everything I've ever said about Nylander being equal to Pasta is wrong. Dead wrong.

See?? I can own up to being wrong.

We said that last game. Do you think if we say it enough, it will come true?

Polak played 18 minutes and was a plus 1 (LOL) pretty sure you got the wrong guy.

Hyman has been good. Still just prefer Kap.

And trading Nylander is a dumb idea, Max.

It is obviously an intentional part of their system. It happens all the time on a 2 on 2. THe far d man will suddenly cross over and attack teh guy with the puck, leaving his man wide open...

Welcome to the last six years of frustration we dealt with in Detroit and early round exits because skill, speed, and youth don’t matter to dat Babs.
- RafiDRW

I definitely see how he has an issue with a hard on for vets.

Pleks, polak, komarov...

The "probably" in that answer shows what you have been doing all day - trolling... not heavy trolling - but trolling, trying to toe that fine line behind taking jabs yet not getting kicked.

Seriously, snowflake, no need to play the victim card. Leafs fans “ Visit” our threads all the time. This is the Saturday Night HNIC game. What do you expect, a segregated little Eutopia ?

They’re both still so young. It’s to be determined. Who is better now? Yeah, I think that’s been shown, but who knows.
